WELCOME

We are delighted to be welcoming our new minister, the Rev'd Karen George, and her family, to Bromley Methodist Church this month. Karen comes to us from the Trent Valley circuit in Nottinghamshire. We eagerly anticipate Karen's ministry among us and pray for God's blessing upon her and our church community at this exciting time.
Karen will lead her first service at Bromley Methodist Church on Sunday 6th September (10.30am), a service which will include Holy Communion.
We also extend a very warm welcome to the new superintendent minister for the Bromley circuit, the Rev'd Mike Cassidy. We look forward to Mike leading our Harvest Festival service on 27th September (10.30am).
Both Karen and Mike will be formally welcomed into the Circuit ministry at an induction service at West Wickham Methodist Church on Thursday 3rd September, at 8.00pm.

Top Award for Bromley Scouts

On Wednesday 21st January Assistant District Scout Commissioner James Allen visited the scout group that meets at Bromley Methodist Church on Wednesday nights to give out Chief Scout awards to 3 of our scouts. This is the highest award in scouting and there have only been 7 awarded in the whole of Bromley in the last year. This is a tribute to Scout Leaders Chris Organ and Lauren Coombs and to the 3 recipients, Seb Randell, Lizzie King and Rebecca East. In a further honour to the group, Rebecca is one of 4 scouts from the London region to be chosen to lead the founders day Scout promise at Westminster this year.
